Central Arkansas game thread

26-7 at the end of 1. I have only been able to see a few minutes of sporadic games until today. I've seen the entire quarter of this one. Poindexter is the best player TU has had since Jillian Robbins and has the opportunity to be perhaps the best ever. She does everything well. She can bring the ball up, she defends the post and rebounds, she can shoot from outside and she can drive into the lane and create her own shot. She is also a really gifted passer.
TU plays an exceptionally tough, in your face man to man defense. So far this year they've really taken care of the basketball. Currently ate #1 in the NCAA in assist to turnover ratio. They can also shoot and get out on the break. Amazing what type of energy a coaching change can infuse into a program. Wonder if any of our other programs could be helped by a coaching change?
