They say Jurgens is one of the strongest guys on the team (if I remember correctly) and dude will be plenty athletic enough for a center, maybe the most athletic Center in the country. He seems to have the blocking skills down...it’s a matter of learning the position and drinking a BUNCH of milk and taking calcium pills ;)

It says more than words that Scott knows Husker history, as much as all of us here. He's an expert too!

Scott grew up with us. Played for us... and he leads us!

Not the strongest but the most explosive. Not sure exactly what Frost meant, but it could be a combination of strength, speed, quickness, and mental aggression/aggressiveness.

He can be the fastest, strongest, most explosive, and best blocker in history, but it won’t matter if he never plays a down of football due to injuries.

Trust me, I definitely get your point and why your saying that. But breaking bones isn’t quite the same thing as the way your saying it. It’s not like he tearing ACLs and stuff like that. He’s broken a few bones the past several years. That bad luck WILL eventually pass and when it does...dude could be our next Richie Incognito. Yes, I could have said another center but he’s are last true all American Center we had...171 pancakes as a rs freshman...WOW!!! Dude wasted his career, it’s sad. GBR

I think Ellis has him locked in, as he is one of the strongest players, also one of the youngest.
Not sure exactly whats going on, but he's broken bones in different parts of his body, so, if it were the same leg or foot, due to calcium buildup on either side of a previous break, right next to that buildup isnt as strong and can break easier, but, thats not whats happening here.
I believe his body will eventually catch up, even his extremities, and we will see him on the field.

I don't doubt Frost's foresight. However, you have to wonder if the recent foot fractures are the result of him trying to reach a weight that's physically attainable for his body type.

I love the enthusiasm but anytime a coach claims that a kid is the next Dave Rimington I'm going to go ahead and doubt their foresight at least a little bit (at least in this one instance). Particularly when the kid has never played a down of college football and has never played center.

Just as it is probably unfair to compare a current baseball slugger like Judge to a steroids era slugger like Barry Bonds, I hope we someday stop expecting our current lineman to have the strength and power of football players from that era.
