I’m in town, for work on campus, but headed to the game tonight. Staying at the Marriott by Kinnick. Looking for somewhere to get a bite and a beer before the game. Ubered from CID, so no car. Hoping to find something walkable, but can uber again if needed. Anything close by?

Admittedly a Husker fan, but live in Gopher country, so we can share that hatred together haha

Wig and Pen has the best pizza. next to it is The Vine. Those are probably the closest to where you are staying

I ate the same crab cakes at the Holiday Inn in Corpus Christi like 3 nights in a row for dinner once. And mind you there were some great options a short walk down to the shore. Which is maybe 200 yards from the front door of said Holiday Inn.

When you're in work travel mode, its just survival man.

Bop into Stella for one, then I’d suggest finding your way to Vine/Wig & Pen as others suggested.

May want to Uber to the latter (as well as get there plenty early), but then an easy walk up the hill southeast to Carver. The walk up from there will have plenty of fans doing the same & plenty of fun banter.
