Candid Interview with Coach Polk

[bartgregory]

Charlie and I had a chance to sit down and talk to Coach Polk. Asked him about why he wrote "the book", building the old "New Stadium", international baseball, and some other off the cuff stuff. Hope you enjoy.

I get the feeling that Ron Polk is the kind of guy who has never put a face mask on during the pandemic.

Very interesting. He is a quirky guy for sure. He mentioned that to get the first 'New Dude' built he had to threaten to leave. Question is though at that time in history where else could he have gone that would build him a new stadium?

My guess is Florida. They had coaching changes in 1981 and 1983.
