North Carolina basketball star Eric Montross dies at age 52

Former North Carolina and NBA big man Eric Montross, who began treatment for cancer in March, died Sunday at the age of 52, his family announced.

This deeply, deeply saddens me. My respect for Eric was off the charts, especially after his UNC hoops broadcasts. He called it straight down the middle, and on the court simply played the game. Very well may I add. This one hurts, but I know Eric went down fighting!!! R.I.P. Prayers to his family. YES, "Cancer Sucks."
