The fifth was Jim Wanek 1990 vs. Oklahoma. We lost 45-10. It was the game Mickey Joseph had to leave due to a severe laceration after being forced out of bounds.

- yea, that week my brother ran scout team QB, said in one session they scored 11 times vs the #1's, he had 6 alone without pitching the ball......he was the Frosh SE1 at the time.

The 1990 team, arguably Tom’s worst team and arguably Tom’s most important Team
- I would actually say 1991, that lost 22-0 to Miami in the Orange Bowl, and it wasn't that close, I was there. Even though they came back from 0-14 in the cold pouring rain to beat OU 19-14.
Note: those two teams lost to all 4 Natty winners too, both years were split, CU, GaTech, Wash., Miami U

That was a cheap shot, late hit out of bounds on MJ is what that was. I was at that game. I've been to every NU/OU home and away game till the end of the Big XII since 1978 as that OU game was my very 1st Husker game. I was 12.
