how the heck Trevor Lawrence can’t play football because he has the Covid, but it’s find for him to be on the sidelines all game? These protocols are ridiculous.

Respiration rate much lower on the sideline.* The virus only comes out when you breathe hard.*

Given that it's me.....it carries more weight. I wonder the same thing. If he is good to be on the sideline he is good to play. If he can't play he shouldn't be on the sideline.

"He's been in the meetings. He's been Zooming and all that stuff," Swinney said. "He's doing well. He's anxious to get out. He gets back with us Thursday or Friday. So he'll be with us. He'll travel with us. He just can't play because of the cardiac-back-to-play protocol (added to the 10-day period). There's no way to get him through that in time for him to play in the game."

Because it’s political and not about the science
Not exactly. It is political, but it’s also religious. Like climate ‘science’, whatever real science underlies it, it’s mainly about sin and ritual cleanliness and sacrifice. He doesn’t need to quarantine, he just needs to sacrifice to cleanse himself for the Covid gods.

That actually does make sense. Still think it’s ridiculous though.

For only a few more days then it’s all good

I think they may want to keep it going. It worked out well for them on Tuesday. And Wednesday and Thursday and Friday.

As mentioned several times during the broadcast, Lawrence no longer has COVID, but hasn't yet passed the cardiac test for him to be cleared to play ACC football again.

Whether that's necessary or overkill is beyond me, but he doesn't present any danger to anyone else, so he can be there.
