They broke the points record last year and nobody really cared. If they do it again this year it’ll probably be a similar sentiment. I mean good wrestling is good wrestling and they’ve been impressive as hell over the years but lately between their talent hoarding and off the mat antics they’re hard to cheer for. At this point it’s more “look at the lineup Cael put together” than “look at how well they run a program”.

Talkers and pundits point at OSU’s incoming recruits as evidence that we’re the same but anyone familiar with sports - like actual sports not the storytelling around the sports - knows that recruiting is important but is only the beginning and does not win championships.

There is so much Penn State fatigue right now. You saw it at the National Duals and the Big 10 awards. The sexual accusation scandals. And them just being SO dominant. Seven #1 seeds? Ridiculous. And yes, a lot of it is jealousy.
