Someone needs to start a thread for Kade Warner too... That guy is trash, was nice of him to step outta bounds when he needed about 10 more yards. When you are as un-athletic as him you really cannot make mistakes OVER AND OVER. You would think he's been around football his entire life and should have a head for it. I guess he didn't drop any touchdowns today.

I own this

certainly didn't play like a multi-year pro during much of his time here

major credit to whoever he worked with prior to the combine to get his 40 time to where he tested

To OP’s side, he had horrible coaching here which made far more players look like *** here than it should have.

H.S. qb. I wish it was mandatory we had to take one h.s. qb from a small town in Alabama, Mississippi, or Louisiana every class as an athlete.

Why didn’t he revive this thread to let us all know he was right again? I thought he “owned this”? Must be a different brand of “own” than his other takes

I do own it.

certainly not shying away from it.

he didn't play like a multi-year pro here. stupid mistakes, got beat his fair share.

I expect everyone to keep me accountable for what I post here. makes the board fun and raises the tide for all boats, in my opinion.

sorry to hear your NFL live betting strategy has seen better days :(

He’s been conspicuously absent from this thread for some reason. I was told that when he’s wrong he owns it.

Waiting…

And what a **** job out former coaches did at player development. Could a been an all Big 10 type player had we had some development from coaches.

Just admit you can't spot talent. 😉
certainly didn't see him running 4.38 at the combine

good for him. happy to see him thriving alongside other fellow Huskers under a fellow Husker for a fun team in Cincy.

I was definitely wrong about his NFL future during his time here.

I actually think we've had a really good run of DB coaches at DONU and evidence of them world be the handful of guys we've sent to the league in recent years... has their been a position group with more NFL representation?

I believe Lamar, Bootle, Kalu, and Cam are all still on active rosters.

He was very inconsistent for a long stretch here. Always seemed to have good athleticism but routinely made boneheaded mistakes/lapses. We didn’t maximize his potential while here.

Makes me wonder if he was poorly coached here. Also, what's the general consensus of Coop versus his predecessors here?

seems good and I agree with @tstaup that the secondary's one place we've been pretty good from an individual player standpoint

Newsome & Hartzog are pros. it seems Hartzog has taken a little bit of a step back compared to last year, but they're asking him to do more than Busch did, especially in the slot.

still don't know what to make of Hill from a strict cover standpoint. might be CTB 2.0 with his plus physical ability paired with lack of consistency.

helps a lot to play in a conference with very few QBs and top tier WRs.

I definitely like the open field tackling we’re seeing out of the DBs. They don’t seem to be afraid to come up and make a stick. Seems better than the past.

Like I said, you didn’t revive your own 2 year old thread or quote yourself for any attention. Lil bit different 😉

You’re not really happy for him. You hate him. You ripped him every chance you got.

hate?

yea, okay, Fauc

someone's projecting

I was wrong about CTB during his time here. said it a bunch. never thought he'd be a multi year pro based on his play.

it's awesome to see him going toe to toe with DK Metcalf with Zac Taylor on the sideline. his interception last week helped me cash a nice Bengals bet.
