I haven't been impressed with him in the past, but he deserves credit for having a really good game today.

Corners played well today. This team needs to learn to finish on 3rd and 4th down and you’d see Nebraska giving up half the yardage they do currently.

Glad you posted this. Cam played great D, and some really heads up plays on special teams.

It looked like a guy who wanted to prove himself on open competition week. A few players made similar statements.

Cam Taylor Britt sucks. We play zero man defense, and I assume a lot of that has to do w the fact he and bootle are incapable of doing so.

he has as good a chance of seeing an nfl roster as every poster reading this.

I would guess you’re reading this and yet Taylor Britt has a better chance than you. He had a good game, give it a rest

Great player that is only getting better. I don't know what the heck others are seeing if they think he isn't the best DB in terms of pure ability,

lol. I was waiting for this post... He's a good player and I think he'll get a shot to play on Sundays. IMO he's a better player than Lamar and he's playing.

He and Bootle pretty much shut down #5, who absolutely torched Ohio State's projected first-round CB for like 2-3 TDs. I was pretty surprised at Cam's change of direction and make-up speed when he did get beat. Our secondary will be very good when they get dialed in.

It's hard not to be impressed with CTB's game yesterday.

I'm sure most of you caught his post game comments, but for those who didn't, it was asked who the team had imitating Penn State's #5 and he couldn't recall the guy's name initially, but knew they all called him "Peanut" and that he was a track guy....he eventually got to Demariyon Houston. So, for anyone curious as to where Houston's been, there you have it.

I like how you stick to your guns. Disagree with you on him.

I didn’t pay enough attention to his overall game, but CBs seemed to shutdown PSU WRs good enough. Couple lapses.
However, the INT was more of a gift than a great play. He did catch it though. Does he know offense is looking for WRs??

Williams Sr is.

He covers and is physical. One more of year of physical training and he could be one of the best safeties we've had since 2009.

I thought that Cam played well. Even a few missed coverage seemed like just normal. He recovered and made the play to limit their effect. Shut down next play. I love the physical play. He also did well on special teams.

Man...criticism is one thing but I haven’t seen one positive observation come from you in quite some time. Neb has a lot to improve on but Taylor Britt was Neb’s MVP on Saturday from my vantage point and I guarantee you he has a better chance of seeing the league than you might think and better, for sure, than you and I.

Cam's A-OK in my book. He did blow a coverage, got back in time to make the play, but after the receiver got first down yardage. That one irked me, but he also picked one resulting in points for us.. he's usually a bigger asset than liability imo..

Considering he played QB in high school and what he has done here at Nebraska I would say he is pretty good at the CB position.

I love the kid. I think he is our best cover corner and teammate on the team.

Show some love to #5 (in red). This was a hell of a defensive effort. The "overall talent" on the team that HCSF talks about needing to get? He's starting to get it.
