For those of you interested, he plays for Memphis in the NBA G league. Last night, he was 12 for 15 from 3pt range, 6 for 9 from 2pt, and 1 for 1 in FTs. And, yes, his team won. An incredible performance. Caleb is also doing well in the G league. He starts and often had good stat lines, just like at RU. He even seems to be shooting better.

Very impressive. Good for him. Hopefully he gets a shot with the Grizzles!

I’m probably the rarity, but I bare him no ill will and really admire what he’s been able to do through sheer determination and resentment.

Don't blame him for taking the money but I think it's objectively crummy the way he did it

Honestly, I think for him, it was more about playing on the biggest stage, showing he could play in the NBA, and giving the middle finger to everyone who passed on him. He doesn’t do social media, endorsements that I’ve seen.

Also, given the dysfunction we saw last year, he might have seen the disaster coming without Caleb’s intensity around.

I mean, sure, but he also knew Caleb wasn't going to be around from jump street. Whatever his motivations, I think it's the leaving in June that frustrated most people. Ultimately, he and Paul were probably a good lesson for Pikes though

If we had Cam and Paul (who wasn't known to be leaving at the time) we wouldn't have been a disaster.

I bear him a little bit of ill will but 51 points is pretty cool, good for him.

Fair point - but I do think many of considered Paul gone after giving out gift cards to staff and the teary press conference.

Yeah, maybe.

I don't know. The leaving at the last minute, some of the comments he made last year, @Plum Street trolling us by wishing him happy birthday on the board and ****. I have a mild dislike. Not like a personal hatred. But I definitely wouldn't consider him a Rutgers guy, degree or not. If he goes to the NBA I'm pretty sure it will say college: Uconn.

It was his birthday and he was playing in a final 4 game on his birthday.
