Winning by 40, waits until 38 seconds before the scrubs come in.
If I was one of those guys, I'd be like, what the F?

Announcers kept saying they wanted to see the guys at the end of the bench, but didn't say anything about why Cal waited so long.
What is the point of even putting them in?
They took ONE shot!

He is a complete dick, but I don't have a huge problem with that. He has 12 scholarship dudes who need work. I would have played them earlier, but there is probably a good reason he didn't.

It probably had something to do with this:

West Virginia's Daxter Miles Jr. on UK: "I give them them their props. Salute them to getting to 36-0. But tomorrow they're gonna be 36-1."

Who cares?
Like the announcers said, those guys work hard and help the team all year long.
Can't throw them a bone and let them play for 2,3,4,5 minutes? At least start sprinkling them in.

That drives me crazy too. His core guys gained nothing by staying in that long.
It's a total slap in the face to the guys at the end of the bench

Why fans hate schools that are successful is beyond me.Calipari is the Geno of mens basketball with elite players at every position and a bench that could start at most teams. Substitution patterns at end of games always raises questions .

Re: One and done is a joke

I mean are any of these kids even enrolled in classes? Why bother when they are gone before anything can happen? KY makes the rest of the hypocritical world of big time college sports seem reasonable.

I would love to have the "scrubs" at the end of Kentucky's bench starting for RU.

Calipari was an awesome coach when in the NBA
. To me, he is a bit like Saban, just not nearly as classy. Can recruit like hell, and overwhelm the opposition with talent, that he doesn't screw up, but give him an equal playing field, like he had in the NBA (or Saban had at Miami in the NFL) and the coaching genius is kind of hard to find, lol.

At least he isn't banging waitresses on restaurant tables, and then having his assistant take the blame, like Pitino did, lol.

Calipari, Saban and even Spurrier...exposed as soon as they hit the Pro level leagues.
