We'll still have Obi (good role player) and likely land Vrankovic (Not sure he can play at this level) as well, but Swanigan would've been a perfect compliment to Jeter. I have heard we will be looking at transfers that can play immediately as well. Hopefully we can change his mind soon.

The mood surrounding Swanigan has changed a lot in the last week or so. Right now there's a lot of chatter about California.

Never really had a good feeling about him coming to Duke. To me it was MSU (and still is), but now also hearing California has entered the picture for a couple of well known recruits, including him.
We will be fine without him.

Duke needs to be looking to fill a void at PG if Tyus leaves. That could be the key to the whole year next year. But hey if they win tonight its all bearable next year.

I think obi/mp3/amile/chase is a top 12 frontcourt, possibly better. If we have great guard play, we'd be a top 10 team for sure IMO. Better than just not bad.

Worst case: We lose Jah, Justise, Tyus, Quinn (graduates), and Capel and don't land Swanigan, Ingram, Thornton doesn't reclassify, and we don't land any transfers.

Best case : We win the national title, Jah, Justise and Tyus come back, Capel stays (HUGE), we get Swanigan, Ingram, and Thornton reclassifies, we land Antonio V, we add a quality transfer.

I think it will be somewhere in the middle. First and foremost, hopefully Duke wins #5 tonight!!! We retain Capel (ASU would be a mistake in my opinion), at least Tyus comes back and hopefully Thornton reclassifies as well and is Tyus' backup next season, Winslow returning would be incredible but I don't see it happening, We will land Ingram IMO and Antonio V and hopefully a quality big transfer that can play right away.
