I particularly like how he talks about the situation like Sharpe was playing 30+ minutes a game last season!

This guy has lost his mind. He needs to be committed. When you start believing your own BS it is over. I don't care what he said; this kid should never have been brought to UK. It was clearly known from day one that he was never going to play. The two idiots who didn't know when to say yes and when to say no were comical. UK has really become college basketball's laughingstock.

The only thing I can think of is the "mentor" thing. If the NBA did reject him as agent that would explain why Sharpe has no agent. Could be this Washington guy tries to get Sharpe to go to school for a year while he tries to get the agent requirements in line so the NBA will accept him as Sharpe's agent and he can get his payday. Never underestimate greed of an guy so unscrupulous as latch onto a kid for money.

Every mock draft I've seen has had Sharpe in the lottery during his entire tenure at Kentucky.

Also, Cal is basically saying Sharpe is still deciding, and Cal warned BBN to basically not precipitate the type of negativity that would cause Shaedon to want to leave.
So Cal is covering his rearguard action by blaming the fans for Shaedon possibly leaving.
That's the type of sleazeball maneuvering that we all knew Cal was capable long before he ever took the Kentucky job. Looks like he's back to his used car salesman ways.
