That "tolerate his Dad" comment reminds me of an old Rick Majerus story. He once took in a high profile transfer whose Dad had a bad reputation. One day that first year, the Dad showed up at practice to watch. He asked a grad assistant where he could sit & gestured toward a chair that was court side. Majerus told the GA to show him to his seat on the top row of the arena.

That was the last they heard from that parent.
