Kansas - Self
West Virginia - Huggins
Oklahoma - Kruger
Texas - Smart
Baylor - Drew
I-State - Prohm
TX Tech - Smith
K-State - Weber
Okla State - Underwood
TCU - Dixon

The rich get richer.

111 career NCAA Tournament teams combined among just 10 coaches. What a league.

We'll have our redemption/rematch shots with the newcomers...

THE toughest college hoops league just got even tougher as the 2 "weakest" coaches were replaced by 2 guys that are upgrades. You have to bring your big boy pants when you play in the Big 12...........no doubt about it.

As a Kansas fan you have to love the Underwood hire at OSU. The reason he is the coach that KSU fans wanted and now he will be at OSU and not Kansas State. WVU I can say this that right now their are some mighty pissed off Grapes at the moment in the little Apple.
Tubby is good but, not sure if he can continue to do much more at Tech.
Prohm at ISU to early to tell. The ISU players that made this years team good are mostly leaving. Time to see if he can recruit now.
Baylor still has Drew.
Kruger at Oklahoma, he is pretty good, but loves the three ball too much and not the best defensive coach in the league. But still a good coach no doubt and I like him.

I have to admit the Underwood hire at OSU could be a home run hire.
WVU do you like him at OSU?
I personally hope he at least takes two years to build the program up why?
Kansas only has 12 titles in a row and truthfully we need two more in a row to pass UCLA 13 in a row in my opinion.

But OP I agree with you on the new coaching hires. Because this league just got tougher.

Two national titles between that entire group. Coach K alone has more than double that. The ACC has the best group of coaches.
