Butts back on the market?

Without a single Rhode Island native on the roster. This is the year that Gilvydas Biruta pulls it all together?
Maybe this was a reason we lost out on him. I think the guys we are bringing in have more upside.
Please don't use the word "grinder" / Myles Mack together...given his recent problems-.it's nauseating.

For some "grinder" means someone is an overachiever.
Others might think of grinders as a sandwich , like a hoagie or sub.

and look at Higgins' calling Mack as a compliment .
I have been a fan of Butts' game and talent for some time. I was disappointed when he reneged on his commitment. That said, there appear to be too many red flags with respect to Butts and I do not think it advisable to pursue him, even if he becomes eligible.
Can't imagine that this is really a possibility - he could not satisfy the requirements for admission to University of Rhode Island ...

That's funny.... I remember one particular "HURLEY LOVER" on this board slamming Jordan about how Hurley out-recruited him for Leroy Butts. Just more evidence of that guys anti-Jordan agenda. He knows exactly who he is....:boxing:

BK....I'm not sure you were posting on a regular basis when a small group of posters were relentlessness in their "unwarranted" criticism of Jordan and staff regarding recruiting in the wake of the Rice scandal.

I agree with BK, who cares about Leroy Butts and Biruta and Hurley.
Despite everyone's wishes on this board, and Tim Pernetti's incompetence, we got the right coach for the job at RU....a few years too late, but he's here.
