He is comparing a Lance Leipold coach team vs a non-Lance Leipold coached team.
Lance ran the ball and ran again and ran again and kept running the last two seasons.
They threw the ball more than 20 times per game last year. In the one game they lost, they threw it 42 times. In at least 157 pass attempts there were 11 pressures and 1 sack.

According to Phil Steele, they played a MAC only schedule last year (& Marshall in their bowl game).
They switched coaching staffs, and only returned two starters on OL, 4 total on offense.
Don't know if they threw the same type of passes last year.
Just going by the eyeball test, it looked like we overmatched them on both sides of the ball. The defense played like it. The offense, save for Toure and Martinez running, did not.
