Are you kidding me the top 2 teams in Baseball are playing each other (Indiana and Minnesota) and BTN decides to show 2 teams at the bottom of the conference race.

They need to decide a week before so they can show the best series over the weekend that have an effect on the conference race.

This is what is disappointing about BTN.

You completely overvalue the amount of eyeballs who watch college baseball... Nationwide.

BTN's baseball coverage has always been terrible. Its keynote game every season is the exhibition game between Michigan State and the Lansing Lugnuts.

But on a happier note, Huskers did get Game One of their series at MSU today. I think the series finale is on BTN Monday afternoon.

Yeah that part sucks. But the game is at Noon Central time. So if you have BTN2Go, you can catch some of it over lunch. Still better than a replay of the Purdue spring game.

Both schools had finals this week and agreed to start the series today instead of Friday. The time on Monday is so NU can get home at a reasonable time (just like any series finale, it's earlier in the day). If anything, at least they are televising it. The scheduling of the game had little to do about BTN and was actually about the players.

Huskers lose Game Two today 4-2. Big game tomorrow with Jake Meyers throwing for NU and Michigan State's starter TBD. Would be a really nice road series win for the Huskers if they can get the finale.

Btn sucks. There I said it. Baseball might not get a ton of eyeballs but neither does the other crap sports they show. I can't believe they don't show more. And their classic football games aren't the good ones.

We must not forget about the quantity of quality of Michigan and Ohio State programming.

BTN has learn nothing about sales and eyeballs, could find better scheduling and quality programming on Chumlee TV.

Looking good for the Huskers today - up 7-1 in the top on the 7th.

Assuming they can hang on, this would be NU's best series road win in some time. I think MSU was ranked 24th going into the weekend.

You would probably have to go back to our series win over Irvine two years ago. Closing out this win should do wonders for our RPI and get us right back into the discussion for an at large. Coming into today Boyds World says we need to win 7 out of 9 to close out the year to be top 45 RPI. Winning 6 out of the next 8 is doable IMO.

Bottom of the ninth, and we are attempting to let them have the series win.......

And they get the win, after making it interesting in the bottom of the ninth! Good series win for the Huskers!
