Happy Brey found a job out of the ACC. OFC
As a St. Johns grad I am not sure how I feel about this. Maybe 20 years ago. I guess his son could take over.
He'll be a program stabilizer for your Red Storm, Chris. Pitino won't make those mistakes again. You need someone to set things up well for the future and I believe he will.
Ed Cooley, long time Providence coach decided to take the Georgetown opening.
Pitino will have St John’s in the tourney next year.. he should have waited for Cooley to leave then went back to providence. He could get to the final four there but if he legit wants to coach till he’s 80 and stays at St John’s he might take them
Pitino will probably get St Johns in the tournament. But it’ll take a lot longer than 15 seconds.

I'd rather have Pitino than Calamari as my coach, Chris. Despite his issues, he's one of the best ever to do it.
Heels recruit Ian Jackson may flip to St. John's. Hot dog. Still need to confirm this. Just rumor but Pitino is going after him. That would be funny.

No Pressure in this Conference. He can recruit JUCOs, Redshirts, Prep School Kids, etc.. No Pressure.
I don’t know about recruiting JUCO’s and redshirts in the Eastern Conference to battle teams like the Celtics and Bucks, but we will see how it plays out.
The Hawks biggest enemy will always be Trae Young . That’s like four coaches and assistant coaches he has gotten into their faces . He’s a good scorer but no one wants to really play with him .
I just realized he joined the Hawks. That was if he went to South Florida.
