According to reports flying around Twitter, he hasn't been formally charged with anything.

Our starting NT was arrested for assault on an officer before the start of the season (and he was tased).

I couldn't believe he was allowed back on the team. Kids deserve a second chance in most situations, but acts of violence towards innocent people (or police ) are inexcusable in my opinion.

What a way to finish off your senior year.

That means bail is $500, right? He conceivably could scrape that together and avoid jail.

What a dummy. Getting mouthy with a cop or whatever he did is really dumb and easily avoided.

EDIT: Just saw he struck a cop. He's a Grade A moron.

Reports also indicate that he was in his room before midnight and then obviously left. I don't know if that means he was in his room "for curfew" or not, but I would suspect so. What the heck does a man have to be thinking to do something like this when he has so much to gain by doing things the right way. I don't give him a pass because he is "just a kid". No. He should be a man by now, and I bet his parents think so too.

Is it too late for me to withdraw my prediction that TCU will pound 9 kinds of crap out of Oregon? Thank God I didn't put my money where my mouth was.

And thank God it's right after Christmas because I don't have any money left to put anywhere.
