If I had to vote, I'd say Rangers-Celtic is probably the biggest rivalry. I don't see the folks at the Horseshoe having to have an empty section filled with cops between the Ohio State and Michigan fans to prevent bloodshed.

ESPN probably thinks UNC vs Duke is, but nobody outside of a 20-mile radius in North Carolina believes that.

College football maybe. And that's even debatable. It's certainly one of the top 5 in college football. But he said ALL SPORTS. I'm mainly griping at how ESPNABC slobbers all over the collective knob of the Little 11 every year, deserved or not.

My bad, I'm thinking in football. Even though you clearly said all sports. Apparently I can't 17ing read.

Anyway, you could definitely say best in football but yeah, that will always be debated. In all sports, I'm bias b/c I prefer football to anything else. I'd think it has to be top 25 but I'm not bothering to take the time to go through the top rivalries in each sport.

Rangers-Celtic is on all the lists, but I've never seen actually seen it because they only show it in pubs over here. Also River-Boca (fans fighting each other through chicken wire), and some rivalry in the Balkans where people always get shot.
