Week 12 plurality: Belk Bowl

I'm amazed we're projected to the Belk Bowl with a 6-win season. I took my family to that game the year Dak & Co. played NC State. It's actually a really nice experience.

It would make sense for one of the Financial Institutions with a major presence in Charlotte to pick up that sponsorship

No matter what....it will always be the McRae’s Bowl to me.

Again, the Belk Bowl picks the same time as Music City, Liberty, Texas, Gator, and Outback. They’re all the same tier

Some trends are subjective.

I think we all know the Outback traditionally picks ahead of the rest of that pool no matter what the paperwork says, and the Liberty Bowl has by far the worst stadium of that group.

I expect us to be at the bottom of the barrel should we be bowl eligible. I would be floored if we are playing in one of the Florida games.

I believe the Texas bowl has roughly the same payout as Outback. Liberty increased their payout to close to what everyone else is so they are on the same level.

It's just the Charlotte bowl experience seems like a better gig than a 6-win team and its fans have earned.

Maybe I'm just partial to the Carolinas. If you can't get a game far enough down into Florida to actually be warm, I'd rather go to the Carolinas because they're not full of Floridians.

It's because the bottom half of the SEC sucks *** this year. We won't fill all of our bowl spots.

Rain sucked, but the club level section was nice. If the weather had been better - I could see it having potential to be one of the nicer bowl experiences we've had.

I always get the Music City and Belk bowl mixed up. It was a 6-6 team that went to Nashville.

We haven’t been to the liberty since the Belk. If we get to six we will be in the Liberty. They are not sending a team with apathetic fans to Charlotte.

I agree. I think Liberty is the only bowl we will have a decent amount of fans attend. There werent many of us in Charlotte even with Dak playing Id hate to see how many would be there this time.

Need to work on getting the Bermuda bowl....not kidding.

The Las Vegas Bowl has up'ed the pay, moving it to a NFL stadium. I think bringing P-5 conference and location is going to make that a good bowl. I will go if State ever goes.

Liberty may not get an SEC team. They have the lowest payout of any of the group of 6 bowls. If the SEC can't fill all 6 slots, which appears likely, it's the most likely candidate to get left out.
