You see ultra wealthy great organizations in cities with awesome ball parks and surrounding amenities fail.
The Mets, a winning Met team makes Flushing electric.

The Rich get Richer isn’t that what fans and owners wanted ? I will always be a Yankee fan until the day I leave this earth. Agree that when the Mets were good the atmosphere was off the charts. MLB does not hold the same place in my life as it did 30+ years ago.

The AAA Red Sox just took 2 of 3 three and set a franchise record for steals on Sunday and previously took 2 of 3 from Phillies.

Yeah, I don't trash talk too much and this is a great example of why. It's all my fault, sorry Yankee fans. But seriously, I thought the general feeling in Boston was that management is not supporting the team. Let the big fish get away except for Devers and Cora catching the blame of inept GM.

That has been the MO with players in Boston. Did the same thing in 2000's when the were on downside of careers.

I'm a die-hard life long Yankee fan and honestly was surprised at the lack of big names on the BoSox roster this year. Cora did a great job against the Yanks with the aggressive base-stealing. I still have nightmares about Dave Roberts. I fid the rivalry more fun when the Sox have proven players.
