I hear Miami is pulling out the big NIL $ so this would be a big victory.
This board has been so dead, so happy to see a basketball related post. There has been a lot of recruiting stuff like the Boozer visit a couple weeks ago, Braylon Mullins cancelled visit, Peat switching his official visit until 10/18 and Acaden Lewis has us in the Top 4. I’m sure I missed some other recruiting stuff. Also Blue vs White game is a couple weeks away. Hopefully we can start talking basketball again around here. Hopefully the Boozer Twins give Duke some great news here soon. Let’s start 2025 class in style and let it roll.

I don’t see Lewis happening but we will see.
I heard that Duke favored Lewis more than Mullins and why he cancelled his visit. But if Duke lands Boozer and returns either Foster/Proctor I see your point.
Timo, what are thought on the 2025 class and who Duke has a good shot of landing? Boozer Twins, Peat, Henderson?

Kind of a dead period. No scrimmages, no commits. You can only talk about is Kon gonna be our 3 so much.
We really should be focusing on body language, high fives, and food & beverage choices for watching games this coming season. Will it be hotdogs and coors lite again this year? Or have we expanded to wings and craft beer?
I check into this board periodically in the off season, but like Chris says, there is only so much that we can speculate about recruiting, playing time, rotations, ppg, rpg, player development, etc until opening night!

I just saw that there might be some recruiting news possibly next week or pretty soon. I’m wondering if the Boozer twins have come to a decision or commitment date. Timo you hear anything?
Uness we pony up some serious NIL I think it will be Miami. Although Timo and a DBR insider are suggesting good news is coming about someone.

I haven’t been on as much because it’s really been the same topics due to off season and starting a new business venture so I don’t have much time but I do check it for new topics .

Thanks it’s been hectic . It’s more of a side venture but has really taken off so it’s been a lot of trying to find the cheapest suppliers and all that and a lot of networking which everyone on here pretty much k owns I’m not tech savvy lol.

I can't imagine how going to Miami will be good for their development. However, there may be other factors at play, such as staying close to home and not wanting to be just "another one" as opposed to the Big Thing.

Miami is the local school plus NIL. But there is no comparison to the Duke basketball family and program. If the Boozer twins want the best chance to develop and get ready for the NBA it’s really a no brainer. The other benefit is Coach Scheyer will definitely be here longer for Cayden assuming he stays at least a few years. Hopefully they decide for development/roster over NIL. It’s sounding like we will all find out their choice in a week. LFG join the Brotherhood

Yes I get the feeling that Cam is letting Cayden make the final decision. Cam may feel like he'll do well for 8 months at either school.
Be an interesting "allure of Duke vs. NIL $" challenge. Of course, Miami went to the final four more recently than us so I'm sure Miami is selling that plus NIL. They could also point to Flip as a recent big guy whose NBA stock slid at Duke. Even Lively's stock slid, although he is playing great now.
