Whiffing on tackles and just burned on a long TD pass and he's a starter!

Man I got ripped on here for saying losing Bookie was probably no big deal. He just doesn't have the size to be much more than a slot cover guy. I see he has 0 picks on the year.

Some positions are harder to evaluate than others. If you are a physical corner in high school you can really look amazing because WR's in high school have a hard time getting off the line because HS man-man is not the same as college man-man. I have a friend that played WR in HS and was all-state and blah blah blah...he got to college as a WR and said he couldn't even get off the freaking line...ended up being a 4 year starting punter.

Saw that. Man it was really bad too. Guy made him look as slow as a MLB. Just blew by him. One thing to get beat by good pass and catch but man...that guy was wide.

Bookie has talent but he’s a true freshman. He has the ideal skill set to guard quick slot WRs. I still wish we could have signed him.
