If we don't get Napier or Judge, why isn't Clark being talked about?

He took over a 6-5 Jacksonville State team and won 11 games in his only season there. He took over a 2-10 UAB team and went 6-6 in year one. The school shut down the football program due to budgeting. Three years later it was reinstated. They went 8-4. The last two seasons they've gone 19-7. That is a pretty impressive record.

I here you and I believe he could be better than most people think. I don’t know if it’s that he isn’t considered to be a ‘hot name’ hire or what.. you know It’s just - Bill Clark. Or maybe there is something that the public don’t know about that is only vetted by these search committee companies.. Not saying that he is done something horrible just saying there maybe more that what we see. It’s a puzzle for sure.

Yeah, I just can't imagine another candidate being able to claim success in a more difficult situation than Clark at UAB. And as we all know, State is not an easy job.

I've been thinking the same thing since this process started. He's been mentioned on this board but not on Twitter by any "reputable" sources as a candidate. You'd think he would jump at the chance to have more resources to work with and not having to play every home game in the ghetto.
