I am almost 24 hours from departure to Tulsa. I had a little time the last two evenings to make a decent attempt at filling out brackets, so here goes.

I am not sure what is going on with Strickenberger? His results have not been his par of late. Also, I see a bracket buster in Ezekial Witt...he's just a literal wild card in all sense of the phrase.

3 - Strickenberger (3)

I know that seems chalk, but I have a semis of Sprat, Roark, Witt and Stevo

4 - Witt (6)
5 - Hedrikson (5)
6 - Roark (4) I gave Hendrikson the win in the 5/6 match.
7 - Anderson (7)
8 - Mauger (US)

So, almost chalk, but it has potential to be busted all up.

btw did you fill out a bracket online somewhere? I just did mine in my head but it’d be cool if there was some place I could fill it out and then see how I did.

I have Strickenberger beating Poulin and Spratley over Strickenberger in the finals. Sweet revenge even though Spratley won easily at WVU. I think Strickenberger and Watters pull upsets at Big 12’s but are not going to be champions.

Man, Jett has a weight issue.

Could be an injury issue that’s hidden.

I think you may be right. Strick seemed to have Spratley’s number last year and then Spratley pretty much dominated him at WVU. Weight has always been an issue but an injury might explain the separation this year. I think WVU surprises here and at 165. Hasn’t WVU had at least one champion for the last 4 years though?

Strick needs to maintain wait for 2 days. Is it a 2 days weigh in event? But after tomorrow mornings weigh it, he can let it go. He will be ok for Semis and Finals.
