Had a few set points in the 3rd. Failed to convert. Dropped it. Down 2-1. Their rotations are “interesting”
At no point watching that match did I think Nebraska was going to win 3 sets. Sunday is a new day.
You said it wasn’t that close, now you say at no point did you feel Nebraska was going to win 3 sets...
You should have posted that in the first place. Personally I thought we were going to win the 3 set and they let it slip away..
the match wasn’t as close as the score indicated. Is that better? I believe most understood what I meant considering I quoted the score of the match.
Surely you aren’t this dense. I’ll use a football analogy for you. When a team is dominating a game but the final score is like 28-17 and the losing team scores 2 4th qtr TDs. People will say the game wasn’t as close as the score would have you believe. It doesn’t mean the losing team didn’t have a few moments where they played well, it just means the result of the game was never in doubt.
At no point in me watching that match did I think Nebraska was going to win the match. Thus my comment “it wasn’t even that close”.
I believe it was close except for the 1 set..And there was no need to use your football analogy and I know exactly what you meant, but you changed your tune on your next post..I just didn’t see it that way...
It’s America my option doesn’t have to agree with yours when I seen it differently...
Glad you mentioned this. Is this fallout from reduced staff? Just seems like not near the good camera angles down the lines. Hard to overturn on replay when you can't see definitively.
I thought Nebraska was in command up 24-22 in the 3rd set. I would’ve wagered on us to win the match at that point. Obviously the four point run by Minn to win the set was crushing.
Agree, NU was up and seemed to have steam and I was sure we could get one of the next two points. I still had hope for the 4th and they went ahead as I recall, but then the tent folded. Some of that was the MN hitter, but some of it was MN really wanted it diving for balls and such, and some of it was plain bad luck.
Minnesota would go on a run, Neb would crawl back and then whenever Minn needed a stop they set up #10 and shut out run down. She stopped our runs. She was like Immodium AD for us.
