Eddie Jordan is up, and Eddie Jordan is also talking youth. He's lost Myles Mack and Kadeem Jack, and he says he's got a more "perimeter-oriented" group this year. As many as eight or nine players are in the mix to start right now.
He points to what he sees as a tough non-conference schedule, one that presumably will test that young team quickly.
"It’s a new team. We have seven newcomers," Jordan says. "I like our talent base."
Says he's not thinking too much about what he's lost.
"As a coach, you look forward to the team you have in front of you," Jordan says. "You don’t necessarily look back. I’m excited for this team. I’m excited about the way we’re gonna be able to play."
