Pac-10 vs. Big 12 matchup. We are designed to stop Riley type of offenses...I mean we will give up 30+ but I actually think we can score against this type of defense as well. The game will be in the 30s, and then comes down to special teams and turnovers. Wouldn't be surprised if we win 38-35. USC has to travel across the country and the travel does have an effect.

When I have gone to night games through the years I always thought the lighting was an issue. Picking up the ball in the air, Black uniforms...playing on turf and a team that has not played well on the road. Maybe this all means nothing and we get our *** kicked but you have to wonder....

We gotta score 40 to win. Most likely unless some weird stuff happens that keeps the score down. But I think USC is good enough on defense to prevent that.

As much as I want NU to pull off the upset I don't see it happening. Like the Michigan game we may land a few punches early but over 4 quarters I think USC will wear us out. Hopefully we can make them earn it, no easy scores, no turnovers giving them a short field.......Still I think USC 31 - NU 21.
