Does anybody have experience getting their tickets this way? My niece in NY decided all she wanted for her birthday was to go to Midnight Madness. I live in CA and like I said they live in NY so getting the tickets off Ticketmaster is basically our only option. I was just wondering how successful people had been in the past. I dont want to buy plane tickets and book a hotel only to not get tickets. Any advice is welcome!

Have to get on bright and early! And if possible have 2-3 other people in the house trying to get them as well. That’s the way I’ve always done it and have always had luck. Good luck with it and hope y’all get tickets!
That's the best idea. They get gobbled up quickly.
People always sell them after they get them, for various reasons. That may be a good option for ya.

Her mom's family is from Syracuse and her grandparents teach there. So my brothers and I have spent a lot of effort into ensuring she is a Cats fan! haha
Didn't they release the tickets at night last year? I was thinking something was different about it. I just looked it up and they did do it at 10 pm last year. So make sure you have the date and time down and before the time hits have your info and credit card in the system in advance and just keep refreshing your screen until you get some.
If you don't get any right away try back later. They sometimes release more at other times or days. Don't buy more than 1 set with the same credit card and address or they will cancel multiple orders if you try and get better ones then you already bought. I almost never miss getting them as long as I don't get greedy and take whatever I get the first time.
You can try it on the phone as well with their automated system. One year I missed out on the computer and I tried with the phone and ended up with 1 lower level seat. Only time I ever tried that though and only time I have ever sat in the lower arena.
