Boise and BYU are both a hell of a lot closer to the Big 12 footprint than Morgantown, and both have similar (Boise) or larger (BYU) population bases than WVU to cater to as well.

The subject is Memphis vs. Cincinnati. My point was that Memphis was more attractive than Cincinnati, not that it was generally attractive.

If Cincy isn't sexy, then Memphis is Cincy's duff.

TV Revenue won't matter when their conference doesn't exist in 10 years. Going after UCF and Cincinnati and spreading yourself all over the country is a recipe for extinction. They would be better off with Wyoming and New Mexico than those two.

They can be the conference of the Great Plains or they can be the collection of desperate schools that don't really want to be in the Big 12.

If BYU accepts will the Big 12 be the first conference in three time zones?

The PAC 12 said they weren’t adding anyone, but if BYU is interested in joining a conference, you’d think they’d give them a call. That’s an addition that would bring more money. They would have to find one more to add with them.

You're forgetting the old WAC. Hawaii to Louisiana Tech SMU. Schools in four different time zones with Hawaii being five hours behind Ruston Dallas.
