Never thought we’d be better at baseball than basketball or football for a sustained period of time, let alone regular season conference championship by approx 3 games caliber in baseball. Congrats to the team and this program that continually impresses.

A very good team that has not hit or pitched quite as well against some of the better teams in the league. Don't know if has been a slump or a reality check but still has been one hell of a season.

I think it’s a combination of a few things.

1. We are facing better teams with better pitchers who have better game plans.

2. Our guys going through a bit of dead arm and dead leg period. Usual dependable arms have just lost their command.

3. Most teams hit a mid season slump. We didn’t. We hit it during the end. That’s baseball.
