Luckiest coach in ncaa. Iowegians love him because he is a nice guy and wins 8+ and goes to a new years day bowl most years. Heck we'd like that the last 20 years too. But my Iowegian friends say his seat is hot and leash is short
I really don’t think a lot of Iowans like him all that much they are just resigned to the fact that barring some sort of major scandal he’s there as long as he wants.
True. Which isn't a bad tactic because it works. But doesn't make him a great coach. Successful though and he knows his customer
It’s more like playing excellent fundamental football until the opponent doesn’t. Give teams enough opportunities to mess something up, they will. I give KF his due. He plays the long game just waiting for you to crack all the while playing sound fundamental, albeit less than flashy football.
