Conference may want to take notice that babying their top teams into the tournament is setting them up for a ride shock...

Wasn't that lurch officiating that game? Same guy doing back to back games today. Pretty sure he did a B1G game yesterday too

That was a Big Ten crew doing the Illinois game today. For some reason today they didn't call anything at all on either end. Which is fine.

The tournament officials still let Brad Davison push the defender out of the way with his off arm 30 times per game, so there is that.

The B1G set their kids up to fail. These players couldn't breath on each other without it being a foul during in conference games. Watching the tournament has been refreshing because the officials are letting the kids play. What really sucks for us is that getting this many teams in probably won't happen for a while after this **** show. Nebraska will now have to be a top team and not a middle of the road team to get in.

Anybody catch the anticipation foul call right before half in the Syracuse/WV game? That was bad. Only showed one angle unless they did after coming back from TV timeout. Whistle clearly blew before the foul if there was one.

And usually the opposite is true. Usually come tourney time the refs can't deal with what the Big Ten is used to as far as being super physical.

I am a huge Illini fan and the refs could have called a foul every single time Kofi touched the ball but really that is no fun. LCU was just better today.

My favorite moment in the Wisconsin-Baylor game was when all five Badgers were under the basket whining about a fairly obvious foul call on Reuvers. Nothing unusual about that, but the foul resulted in Baylor's put-back dunk being waved off.

If you're going to wet your collective pants over a call, at least choose one that actually helped the other team instead of a call that cost them two points.

Finally somebody sees the light. I can't believe how everyone on the Board trashes every BIG team but our own (sometimes). The more the BIG looses, the less any Nebraska conference win means. How do you think the SEC gets some of the accolades that never end. They don't trash each other unless they are playing each other, ever.. If you really want to see the Huskers get back to glory in football it is imperative that the BIG continues to fiel good to great teams, same for any other sport as well.

His players executed on the floor better Illini tried to score down low and the big guy couldn’t get anything up with 3 people banging him every time he touched the ball..
But I thought tournament games were called much tighter? Has BTN updated the talking points?

You can come back to rooting for the conference again now that your hatred is kick out from the dance..

I'll continue to root for the teams I want to root for.

If that earns me some stern finger-waggings, I'll survive somehow.

Are you serious? We had 3 conference wins. They couldn't have meant any less no matter how good or bad the league was. Let's worry about what we control.

It generally is called much tighter. So far this year it has not been the case and for the most part has been pretty well officiated.

Well, since the Big Ten teams were playing each other, and everybody was all gushy about how powerful the Big Bad Ten was, it was hard to make a thoughtful analysis of the league.

Not sure how to break this to you, Skippy, but I don't give two ***** who you root for in the tournament.

But then, I'm not the board's self-appointed hall monitor.
