I would say Chris Leak @ Independence

I go with Chris Leak of Independence and Kevin Parks of West Rowan.
For Iredell it would be hard to go against LaChastin Smith who help South Iredell win a 2AA State Title
TJ Logan was great at Northern Guilford. Javonte Williams at WRH. Lots of great RB come out of NC.
Natrone Means of Central Cabarrus had successful years. Went in to play for UNC and then the NFL.
I saw Natrone play a couple of times back when Central Cabarrus was in the same 3A Conference with Forest Hills. Definitely a bruiser of a RB with speed. He also had a little brother, Jimmy, who was pretty quick himself as a RB but much smaller.
Has to be a player with a combination of team success (state titles) and individual stats.

TJ Logan 3x State Championship. Junior year had 5tds in state game and senior year had 8tds and 510 yards in the state game against Charlotte Catholic in their prime years with Elijah Hood. He also played both sides of the ball.
Ehhh, Kendre wasn’t always the best player on his own team at times.
I don’t think Elijah Hood is a close 2nd. TJ Logan was the best player on the field when they played and it wasn’t close. Samuels from Mallard Creek was better than Hood and so was Todd Gurley.
Could probably add Faizon Brandon to the list. This being 4 years on team for Grimsley. Good chance they win another State title
Todd Ellis or too far back? Pretty much the first of the gunslinger in an era that was pretty much still very run heavy. Put up unheard of passing stats for that time and Page , while successful before and after him, pretty much dominated and was never stronger than they were in his years it seems.
Thread title says career. Huge JSam guy and Logan was also special but over 4 years it's not even close. JSam was barely an option on the Creek 2012 team.
EJ Abrams-Ward from Thomasville has to be included. Only player to ever have 2+ titles in both football and basketball, while putting up numbers and being the best player on the team.
