Beat me too it!I would say Chris Leak @ Independence
15,000+ yards passing
185 TDs
3 State championships 2000, 2001, 2002
I saw Natrone play a couple of times back when Central Cabarrus was in the same 3A Conference with Forest Hills. Definitely a bruiser of a RB with speed. He also had a little brother, Jimmy, who was pretty quick himself as a RB but much smaller.Natrone Means of Central Cabarrus had successful years. Went in to play for UNC and then the NFL.
TJ Logan 3x State Championship. Junior year had 5tds in state game and senior year had 8tds and 510 yards in the state game against Charlotte Catholic in their prime years with Elijah Hood. He also played both sides of the ball.Has to be a player with a combination of team success (state titles) and individual stats.
Who else would be up there with Leak?
Kendre only has 1 football title.Todd Gurley Back to Back State Titles and tons of yards and TD's
Current Player: Kendre Harrison Reidsville...going for his 3rd straight State Football Title to go along with 2 State Basketball Titles...Oregon Bound
Ehhh, Kendre wasn’t always the best player on his own team at times.Todd Gurley Back to Back State Titles and tons of yards and TD's
Current Player: Kendre Harrison Reidsville...going for his 3rd straight State Football Title to go along with 2 State Basketball Titles...Oregon Bound
I don’t think Elijah Hood is a close 2nd. TJ Logan was the best player on the field when they played and it wasn’t close. Samuels from Mallard Creek was better than Hood and so was Todd Gurley.Chris Leak. Elijah Hood close 2nd
Thread title says career. Huge JSam guy and Logan was also special but over 4 years it's not even close. JSam was barely an option on the Creek 2012 team.I don’t think Elijah Hood is a close 2nd. TJ Logan was the best player on the field when they played and it wasn’t close. Samuels from Mallard Creek was better than Hood and so was Todd Gurley.
Yup...thats a mic drop.Chris Leak.
When 2002 Pete Carroll flies in from LA, pulls up to the back gate so the player can see him coming off and returning to the field at halftime, then heads back to the airport, you are iconic.
