We looked to score on every possession.

We took a number of deep shots, almost all of gave the receiver a chance to make a play (great job by AK). Unfortunately we didn't come up with any of them and Duff dropped one that absolutely should have been caught.

I gotta give him kudos today.

Offense played their *** off. Athan has really developed from the start of the season. These deserved a win today.

I said in the game thread. A couple big drops which would’ve helped shut the door when we were up.

Defense. And especially tackling in the secondary , or in some cases being so grossly out of position to even make a tackle . That did us in

But I love what we got in Athan and some of the WRs. Strong and Duff.
Gonna need to get a new slot guy.

And TE hasn’t even existed this year and many years before

I didn't get to watch most of the game.
But that we scored on a RB pass at the end of the game is a good sign.

That's been something glaringly lacking in the offense.

Having a QB use their legs when the opportunity presents itself is important.

I'm assuming it wasn't allowed last year.

Yes, he fumbled on a run but he made some critical plays with his feet today.

The players played well. Let's not ignore he ran the ball on 3rd and 12 at midfield like a coward and got bailed out by a dumb Illinois penalty. And then bailed out again on the same drive that resulted in a TD

I think that was the 1 play that annoyed me.
