What is the best Egg Bowl win that you can remember?I saw on twitter where this has been an even series since the Jackie Sherrill days. I see everyone sharing the misery of the losses on another thread. I prefer to reminisce on the wins! I have two wins that I will remember forever. In 2007 my wife and two young children attended the Egg Bowl at DWS. For three quarters it was absolute misery. The crowd was out of the game, no energy at all. We were down 14-0 mid-way through the fourth quarter and Ole Miss went for it on fourth and one hoping to drive the final nail in the coffin. We stopped them! You could feel the momentum change, the crowd came to life. Someone had flipped a switch. We owned them from that point forward and won 17-14. This was the Pegues punt return game, and we witnessed it all! In 2013 my son and I went to the Egg Bowl, my son was a student at the time. It was a close game. Dak was hurt but came off the bench. It went to overtime and we scored on the first possession. Bo Wallace was headed into the endzone to tie it up and send it into a second OT when the ball was stripped and recovered in the end zone by Jamerson Love. The crowd erupted, and I knew that we had won. That was the most excitement I can remember experiencing at DWS. I give the tip to the 2007 game, but both were great.

I know '99 is most peoples. I was there but I was only 6yo so I vaguely remember the moments in real time, and after rewatching it, I didn't seem to miss much for the first 55 minutes. And I love to rewatch the last 2 minutes of that game. But I have never been so excited and emotional as I was after the 2013 win. So I'm going to have to say that one

Since '98 was for Atlanta, it would have to be the winner. But taking that out of the equation, it might be '99. Game was miserable for about 59 minutes. But that last minute made it all worthwhile.

I wasn't alive but it has to be 1941. We beat Them 6-0 in a winner take all match for the SEC title.

1991 (other than '99). First game of the Egg Bowl back on campus, Jackie's first year, and Keo Coleman making Matty's brother his bi+ch.
