He’s definitely a smooth talker, but he has psychological and philosophical substance to his language. No idea how much Rhule will win here, but his most important quote was about forward thinking:
“It’s not about me going back and trying to do everything we did in the 90’s. Coach (Oz) was in the 90’s, and he was on the cutting edge. To best represent what Nebraska means, how can we be on the cutting edge now so that everyone in the country, after we win, is coming in and saying, ‘tell me what you guys are doing.’”

“Practice is the most important thing in our organization. Because if you don’t practice well, you don’t tactically respond well in situations…we’re not gonna sit back and hope to win.”
