I hope he stays too. His first 3 seasons were challenging but he really turned the corner this year. One more year of similar improvements and he'd be a 3rd-5th round pick. Really a reach this year and most like UFA.
I know this season feels disappointing because of how it ended but the roster going into next season seems encouraging, particularly on the lines.

He’s not good, but he got better, and clearly put in serious work to change his body.

He’s still somehow better than the guy behind him, so I hope he comes back.

He’s not good. Neither is anyone on the line.
Decent, but no one we’d label “good”

So let’s not fool ourselves.

But that's largely because the previous coaching staff had to try to hide Farniok inside. Benhart wasn't really ready to be a starter at OT, but the other option was even worse.

Benhart improved noticeably after last season. Low bar, yes, but he got better. No one has said he was dominant but lets not allow groupthink to blind us.

And like Farniok the guy people ***** incessantly about will probably make an NFL roster.
