Anyone with half a brain cell had to be thinking the same thing. The guy isn't exactly known as a power hitter and has wheels. Nothing Big Ben said was out of character for who was at the plate.

I think it it was of those "they don't what's about to take this field" moments with Skinner. I'm guessing even the pitcher thought he was about to lay one down and through a high 4 seamer to see if he would pop it up.... He did not bunt. And I would like to see the advanced metrics on that rocket.

He always says good things about State. He was at the old DNF several years back under the grandstands talking to anyone who came up to him.
