Worlds TU beat writer did a good job on the article today, credit where credit is due. Now expand that with assistant coaches inside information on who as improved at each position, what newcomers are stepping up, who so far looks to be in the two deep mix. Just would like more in depth player information if would be great to see now, then when fall camp ends see if others have moved up in the ranks.

Sorry '51, but must disagree about K. Hines. She sucks & here's why: Although the article on Bill Young was nice, it told us nothing about players(except Jeremy Smith who we all knew about anyway). That's been virtually it since spring camp started. We've become nauseatingly used to daily, multiple articles on the Gooners & zero state. Their beat writers actually work at it. Hines has been on "vacation" all spring. As the prime example of her infrequent mailing it in-here's the scoop on the Thursday TW article you tout: those quotes from Monty were on the TU website since last Sat's practice. Five day's later, she wakes up & reprints them in a lame article.
Of course, she won't be able to skip the spring game with a big article in the Sunday TW. I predict no follow ups on Monday or thereafter until Fall camp begins. Here's hoping she's replaced soon. ORU would be perfect for her beat. TU Football: 1st,last,always!

Ya, agree with you Q my point really was we don't get much. She started her summer vacation along time ago, a good beat writer would have good inside information and be at practice each time they have one with a different focus each time. Time for a real beat writer that works for a living. I had just complained on the pay board about the lack of substance from the TU so called beat writer giving her a rant so when the article came up two days after my rant I did give credit not an endorsement.
