Beating the Smoo will help inch us closer and widen the gap on securing a top 4 seed in the tourney

This will be the tiebreaker game with SMU so really important. Might determine 4th seed as well.

The reschedule to 2pm has killed my ability to go. My son made the all-district band and the concert is at 2pm.

My parents never watched any of my high school events. And they are really good parents. I’m pretty sure my dad went some TU games while I was off somewhere taking fast and arguing about Foucault.

But to each his own.

I'm still confused as to why this was re-scheduled in the first place.

I guess in a world where you don't know football kickoff times until the week before it shouldn't be that big of a deal, but I did have babysitters planned around a 5pm tip.

I think it was because they moved it from ESPNU to ESPNNews.

My parents never let me sign up for any activities that would require Saturday participation during football season. Problemo solved.

Mine didn’t either, they were at the nearby bar instead. (My parents weren’t the best)

A very sweet game, pounding SMU. Hopefully bringing their recruiting in Oklahoma/Tulsa to a grinding halt. First recreational thing I've done since my parents. I wanted to go home joyous, thank you God. Nice to take a break from arranging affairs 24/7.

Yes I was wondering that. I couldn’t help but thinking that if we were to start winning consistently again and playing games that meant something in March, the crowds would return. It was a very upbeat vibe in the tent.

Yeah, being Legends day and retiring Bingo's jersey brought a few more people to the game, and being SMU helped with that too. Hopefully winning that game will continue our inconsistent uptrend in attendance.

We need Wichita to beat Cincy tomorrow so there would be only 2 4 loss teams left and we would be a half game out of 1st all alone in 2nd

I’m not gonna lie. I teared up seeing Bingo Smith in that wheelchair, his hands ravaged with arthritis. You could tell how honored he was. A very touching moment.
They had to move his wheelchair at the last minute as he could not see the banner and then a big smile broke out on his face he was really touched now let’s hang jerseys for Michael ruffin and Eric coley who was responsible for an elite eight run and a 32 5 record

Sadly I was not able to get to the game till late, & had to go outside to take a phone call during halftime. If anybody finds this on video anywhere, I would love to see it.

Beat I could find...

That is nice to see. Makes me sad and happy at the same time. My father wasn't in a wheel chair, but he wasn't able to walk without a walker for two or three years. But he wasn't even getting around in a walker very well lately. He probably would have been in a wheel chair in the next couple of eight months.

Go Bobby, you deserved it a long time ago!

(TU shouldn't wait so long with players that are so deserving. He's 73, he could've passed away by the time they got around to it or started into dementia before now.)

Hopefully Bobby dreams about those days from time to time.
