I seriously doubt he will be used against Florida. Florida's bigs might break him in half. Florida has men on their front line and our soft, run from contact team is going to have enough problems without making new ones. The Florida game is not the place for a person who is coming off of the injured list.

So NO

Having a guy back who hasn't played for eight weeks should solve that fatigue problem Pope keeps mentioning.
you keep using that word tells GIF

From a broken bone in his foot? Wow, the stress put on those bones is immense - if he comes back after only 3 weeks and plays with the exertion required, he could hurt it worse.

He will play if we advance deep into the SECT out of necessity more than anything else.
This is assuming a full week of practices with no set backs. If we win say Thursday and Fri, I could see Cam entering the semis with a blue cap on and hitting 6-8 threes.

Going by how absurdly slow and conservative the JQ return has been, I think we can assume Kam is only coming back if he's 100% safe to do so.

I read that JQ was getting one last test this week & he would be cleared if he passed that test, not word for word but that's how i took it when it said "one last test this week". It also said that all of the swelling was gone & the training staff has 2 different treatment options for his knee. Idk how effective he could be against Florida or the SEC tournament with no conditioning but he could maybe provide a little defense & rebounding in the NCAA tournament. He would have a little over 2 weeks to get in a little better shape. As far as Kam, he had a rod installed into his foot because that's the quickest way to get back on the court, I believe he's approaching the 4 week mark now? Maybe it's 3? The injury was said to be 4-6 weeks with the surgery he chose.

Kam underwent surgery Jan 23rd (according to google) which would make tomorrow exactly 6 weeks post surgery.

He’s not playing college ball ever again, because if he does, he might as well not even enter the draft! He made a calculated mistake by risking playing this season, and he’s paying the price for it now. Dude will be out of the league by the end of his first contract. Overrated is an understatement.

A healthy JQ like I watched before he got hurt, would have been a huge get for Kentucky, but we probably won't ever see that. Hope the swelling has gone, and he fkn kills it in the tournaments.

I don't think Kam plays Saturday and if he does play in the SecT or NCAA's I don't think he will be in good enough condition to make a difference. He would take Noah's minutes but Noah actually made a few shots last game.

He has absolutely no moves around the basket, not even a jump hook.

You're right, I remember thinking when he had the surgery that 6 weeks would be close to SEC tournament time, it's been so long I forgot when he had the surgery lol.

JQ only getting close to NBA workouts in our facilities. He will not play a single game for us.

Cam might stay another year but I would not let him play again this year for fear of further injury that would prevent any off season work outs. We are not going anywhere this year with or without Cam. We could beat Forida and stumble in our first game in the SEC tournament and a 7-10 game in the first weekend
