I think we ,as fans, tend to think only RU can shoot itself in the foot against teams that should pose no real problem. With #25 Northwestern being taken down o,n their own court ,by a team that has never beaten them, we see it can happen just about anywhere, anytime to anyone. As the phrase in sports go, you don't win on paper, you need to do it on the court. The Northwestern Rivals article said it best,
"This is the buy-game loss to buy all buy-game losses. It was a wide-open layup, and the Wildcats fell into a manhole."
Win the next two games boys! You are already "given" the wins, but you will still have to show up and do it on the court.

We definitely have been winning the games we are supposed to last year and so far this year so lets keep that going and then as we have seen the Big is a crapshoot not just for Rutgers but for all the teams

If we had won the Minnesota game last year - a game we were supposed to win - we would not be looking at 2 straight years missing the NCAAs.

As long as teams have 3 point shooters upsets will happen even on opponents home court.

Except NW shot better from the arc and overall from the floor. Only place they shot worse was the FT line
