Could be the mens team as well. Geno is not getting it. He is the best of all time but old age is getting to him. He thinks he can win with skill and others are proving its not enough unless you have a DT or BS.

Texas didn't make Jefferson not come to UConn. Baylor is in Waco which is a MAJOR hole......dump of a city. Its getting nicer but Baylor is just as stuffy and overly religious as you would think for a southern Baptist University. The rape coverup scandal was TERRIBLE yet the hypocritical Baylor elite brushed it under the rug.......

I hear ya Dom, it's like everyone wants to play positionless smallball which I'm not into, but it seems like a trend from the NBA on down. Speaking of recruiting, here's the latest from Geno. Hartford Courant- In the midst of fan panic, Geno Auriemma had a plan in place for UConn women all along

We get to hear alot more from these guys this week since they're on the road show:

I still think Geno will find a grad transfer big. The lack of depth at the 5 is extremely concerning but it’s insane to believe a 5 star recruit would have chosen UConn when UConn already has a stud 5 star sophomore who is going to start for the next 3 years. ONO blocked the girl Baylor just signed. Come on guys, it’s recruiting 101 and what UConn needs is a capable backup to ONO. Someone to play when she has foul trouble. The girl from Murray State is likely going to start at the 4 and she and ONO will team to form a hellacious rebounding tandem.

Don't get me wrong I think UConn will make it to the FF but like the last 3 years unless ODO steps up to be the stud I THINK she can be then we are going to lose by getting beat up ONCE AGAIN.

I dont need 5 star recruits for the bigs we just need BIGS taht can bang with the ones at Baylor. Baylor won with Griner and last year with those horses......UConn needs size or the drought continues.

Don't know if you caught it from the article I linked this morning but is there still hope ?:
Auriemma said Tuesday night "We knew who we were getting. We knew we were getting good players, and hopefully maybe we’re not finished yet. We’ll see.
