If we beat UVA Tuesday, we have a great chance to enter league play in January undefeated and ranked in the Top 10.
Watkins played and played well. Although the competition was weak, he appeared to be moving pretty well and fluidly even with the brace and looked more skilled and confident with the ball. If he and Macon can combine to give us 16-20 solid minutes a game our frontcourt will be much better than it was last year. Holton is committing a lot fewer bad fouls so far which also effectively increases frontcourt depth.
Other than outside shooting, we are looking good. UVA will be a good opportunity to see how we match up against good competition. They've got size and depth and a good backcourt. Perrantes is a very good PG and Brogdon is solid. If we can disrupt these guys with the press, it will a very good sign.
