“This has become one of the best threads of the season hidden under “Temple”
All of you could be right with the right amount of perfectly targeted NIL and recruiting acumen. My preference is still 24-25 year old players who are “near” all-conference level starters in the Sun Belt or Southern Conferences. Everyone here should google the Arkansas State basketball web site and see where Coach Hodgson ( a top recruiter) found players. They certainly have little NIL at ASU and found players to beat Memphis at Memphis.”

I don't think we have the luxury of having "a" recruiting philosophy. I read an article about crows they reason they (and coyotes and raccoons) are so successful is they'll eat literally anything that can be digested, and they're smart and cunning. We need to be crows. Eating from a feeder is great, but if we need to eat a dead possum in the middle of the road or rotten stuff that's overflowing the dumpster, so be it.

I never enjoyed dumpster food and passed up many dead possums (most got dead by my 16 gauge) but I believe you are correct.
