Anybody go?

There wasn’t a whole lot to take from it. No defense was being played. It was more or less street ball to keep the fans entertained.

Couple observations I had

-Yvan Ouedraogo has the highest upside for a big man that we have seen in a long time. He’s 17 years old but has a body that is Big Ten ready

-Curtis shorting mechanics are quite ugly but he is going to help this year as a freshman.

-Cam Mack’s court vision was as advertised but like Curtis, does not have the look of a great shooter

-Stevenson remind me of Lance Jeter in open court. There is not much stopping him when he’s going downhill. We are going to want him to get eligible.

-Burke probably was the smoothest player of the night. Some don’t have him in the starting lineup but I like him.

-Kavas had an off shooting night but he should be our best threat from deep.

-Blanton has to sit out but has a lot of tools. Going to have to light a fire under him though as he appeared to be a bit lazy on the court.

It was a bad shooting night, but this team as some tools. Probably not going to do much in the big ten this year but some of the young guys are very intriguing. I think Curtis and Ouedraogo are going to be quite the players for us.

I was there. They could have done so much more with the event than they did. Once the basketball was over nothing was going on for an hour until the concert started. We left before the guy came on stage.

Your are correct on Curtis. His shot mechanics were so bad the crown groaned when he shot. That Banion kid is a showboat and while he has talent I am not looking forward to watching his antics. Glad he has to sit out a year.
